*Arut* Marcos is 36 years old Brazilian, married, and have two daughters. He started to play chess in Sep '04 out of a joke but quickly became a chess addict. His other hobby is to travel on his motorcycle.

*Berke* His name is Hubert, but everyone calls him Berke, so he chose it as an alias to play chess. He is a 52 years old Belgian and a good friend of Gerard (estepona). Berke likes to play a lot of chess, and he can play rather rapid, even in long games :)

*BitsandBytes* Daniel teaches in high school and likes to play roller coaster chess. We mean you drew him yesterday at 1600; today he shows up a 1690 player and absolutely crushes you.

*BlackDasher* (s) James is from South Africa.

*CarlosKerber* Carlos is co-founder of Veins club. A marketing expert from Brazil , he and his wife are busy with a very special project: building their dream home surrounded by huge mountain and endless ocean .

*Champollion* (s) A veteran from from France.

*ChongC* Chong.

*creton* (s) Martin's from Canada but lives in New England region with his 2 beautiful daughters. He is a hard core chess player; likes to play long games and give each game, each move his 100%.

*CyrusX* A fierce fighter and a deep soul from the Persian Gulf who writes beautiful song lyrics, Hossein is also our Webmaster, so stay tune for his news :)

*Dagtwo* Dennis from Canada.

*DodgeBrother* Like any male, Douglas likes toys: old cars and bikes, or hand carved chess set. He makes a living driving newly wedded couples on their wedding day and he truly believes that it is their biggest day in the whole universe :)

*DrYnti* (s) Ynti from Dominican Republic.

*Eriki* Erik.

*ErnestHemingway* Michal lives in Poland and maintains a huge chess library for Veins to download. He is like a pineapple: rough on the outside but sweet on the inside. Well, that may be stretching it a bit... Michal does not play chess to draw. He spent 30 minutes once looking for a win in a K vs. K endgame.

*Estepona* Gerard is proud father and manager of our golden boy Loucke. Watch out for this true chessnut who played some 5000 chess games in the last year alone! He is a good planner, has big plan for his children and a few exciting plans for Veins as well :)

*EvanJunior* His hometown is Chicago USA.

*Gianuzio* His daughter lives and works in Washington DC, so he likes to fly over a very big ocean to visit her. A wonderful friend, G is also an international law expert.

*Henderb* Henderb's from Venezuela, a country of pretty nice women and endless natural beauty…. He works as programmer for the Iron Industry, married, without children, and with too much passion to play chess and enjoy…

*HollowPlayer* Henry lives in Marseille and probably is one of the quickest improved chess players of our club. He also loves playing in tourneys: OCL, STC, 90/30, IBS… and has found it hard to keep track of all of them :)

*Iqmaster* Carson. A sharp talented player from Denver USA.

*Kakkeda* Ricardo from Brazil.

*Klipkasteel* Hennie is South African, geologist, world traveler, who gets a bit reckless playing anything including Chess , bit of a bad loser at times, and he absolutely hates these blitz games where time is enemy, not your real opponent.

*Loucke* He is 16 years old, living in Spain with his family, likes to walk his dog, and is a killer in chess. Loucke is one of the strongest players of our club and also an up and coming star of the Spanish Chess Federation. His first official FIDE rating is due in February, stay tune!

*Matin* (s) Martin is a dentist from Argentina. He adores his 5-year-old niece, and she loves to play with his PC while he's chessing :)

*MDU* Marc is from France and makes a living as computer programmer. Although vbot is authored by Seberg of FICS, it was Marc who took initiative in our special project to create a program aiming at running our IBS tourneys. Thank you, Marc!

*moppie* Ingrid is Ray's sister. She is married and has three children. She likes chess, painting, drawing, and photography-- everywhere she goes, she takes her camera with her. She also loves music, can play guitar, and is a big fan of Metallica .

*Ohzoso* Ray is an avid guitarist who likes Blues, Rock, Acoustic finger style, and Folk/Blues. He learned chess from a former Polish youth champ (somewhere in the 1930s) Kazimir Wrzeszcz, who was his friend's dad. Ray hopes to become GM one day.

*RRNSerbia* Novak from Serbia.

*rsekhar* Raja is 23 years old, from India but now living in Canada. He's currently working on his Master degree at University of Waterloo in Wireless Networks.

*schoorl* Onno's from Holland. He is 64 and has been playing chess very fast for 60 years :) He learnt chess from his father who never let him win. Now Onno is a regular every Thursday evening at his local chess club Schaakclub Bergen www.scbergen.nl

*schroedinger* Brian lives in Los Angeles. He has been playing chess almost 50 years and played in his first tournament 35 years ago. He even beat a real GM once! (GM Rosendo Balinas of the Philippines.) Brian runs Veins weekly training session.

*shivaroxxx* Shiva (Scott) lives in Portland, Oregon. Just ask him about Buddhism and meditation :) Shiva also loves analyzing games forever!!! And his wife is a BIG supporter of chess.

*SkyDiploma* Susheel. He says :"I wish that all wars between countries should be determined by the chess games between their players."

*tseltzer* Tim is one of the strongest chess players on our team, a wonderful team player and very good at utilizing computer to learn more about chess games. He and ngo in fact lives only minutes away from each other.

*Uhcaldeirao* Roka is a trained economist from Serbia. He likes music like none other, if you want any song, just ask him kindly and good chance is that he'll send it to you. His chess goal is to win our IBS tourney soon :)

*ValenceJordan* Valence is a 22 year old multi-talent from Jamaica. He is two time Western Jamaica Junior Champion (2005, 2006) hoping to become Jamaica National Master. He is a 4th year medical student who also composes music :)

*WhiteCharger* Clive, another South African, in the 70's and 80's used to be chairman of one of the best chess clubs in South Africa and they held an international tournament called The Holiday Inn Open for many years. He once played against GM Max Euwe (then FIDE president) and GM Raymond Keene .

*willhUNTING* Will from LA USA.
